Fairfield Transitional

Creative homeowners sought a traditional backdrop for their eclectic decor. The under-sized, cut-off kitchen didn’t match the generous proportions of the rest of the Georgian brick home. Period gems like the plaster Tudor arch, and original casings were retained while walls blocking flow and light were removed. The pleasing result is a finely-tuned entry/cooking/living/dining space that marries classic design with an artistic sense of whimsy.
